This place has very good, authentic and well-spiced food! So flavorful and the lady here was very nice and friendly! We had a lecso lango. It was delicious and the portion is good for 1-2 people. The sweet treat was also delicious too!

While shopping at Lakeline Mall we saw this relatively new restaurant - Taste of Hungary in the Food Court. A husband wife team runs it. They explained all the dishes and helped us with the selections. The menu seemed different from the usual ones and tried it. The service was very friendly and the food tasted really good. I would definitely recommend it.
My boss sent me here to try it out as he is from Budapest and wants to cater for meetings. Kate is a gem and so sweet. The prices are amazing and she makes her bread home made daily. I was instructed to ask what she suggested and the stuffed cabbage was out of this world. I’m his assistant and have tried many similar places but this one’s amazing. Give them some love because they deserve more than being in a food court. Great prices and I ate my leftovers thrice!
Highly recommended! The dishes have authentic, home-style flavors. We ate here at Christmas. After a long time, we finally tasted the flavors of home again! It was absolutely wonderful. Many thanks to Tibor and Kati for this amazing experience!
Love the authentic Hungary family-style taste here! It truly is grandpapa and grandma in the kitchen cooking for you. The flavors are warm, comforting, and nostalgic in the best way. The Lecsó on the Lángos is incredible — rich, savory, and perfectly balanced, with that homemade touch you can’t forget. And don’t skip the Gerbeaud cake! It’s beautifully layered, not overly sweet, and tastes just like the classic cafés in Budapest. Absolutely a gem.
Fantastic. The owners were so helpful and really nice and told me all about the different foods. The potato spiral was really interesting and it was cool to watch them make it from the whole potato. The food is delicious and very filling and is definitely the most interesting cuisine in the Lakeline Mall food court
For an authentic Hungarian food experience, this place is unbeatable. All of the traditional dishes are done to perfection, the service is very friendly and the environment is spotless. There are not many real Hungarian places out there, this one is a true gem
